The members of the Pavilion of God unequivocally and faithfully support the Black Lives Matter movement.
The Word of God calls us in the following manner: "This is what the LORD Almighty said: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.” (Zechariah 7:9)
In this season, all of us are to search our hearts and seek new and effective ways to administer true justice, show mercy and compassion to one another. If justice, mercy, and compassion were the immediate response of human beings, we would not need Divine directives and guidance. Blessedly, God guides all of us and the Pavilion of God is committed to teaching and living out the Word of God in all matters related to justice and the Black Lives Matter movement.
The hope and the desire of the Pavilion of God is to be an instrument of the Lord with respect to the mandate: “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”
The Pavilion of God also affirms and supports the statement of the DC Baptist Convention.
